was the Y2K testing consulting for Intelsat, the largest
telecommunications carrier in the world. Intelsat handles voice,
data, and video communications for over 140 countries, including the
U.S.
established the test control framework, developed test plan guidelines,
assisted the developers in writing test plans, acted as coordinator of
test reviews, monitored test results, reported to INTELSAT management on
Y2K compliance progress, and generally functioned as the testing
authority. Both hardware and
software testing were involved. President
Clinton selected INTELSAT to represent the United States for Y2K best
practices at the United Nations in the Telecommunications Sector.
After
Y2K,
was tasked as requirements analysts for the next generation
of Intelsat satellites.

developed the materials and presented one-day seminars across the State of
Maryland on Y2K best practices. These seminars included project
management, requirements
elicitation, software design, testing methodologies and procedures, and
organized maintenance activities.

With school
administration and staff,
developed a Computer Education Process
Improvement project plan to improve the use of computers in
curricula and administration in the County public schools. This plan
involved rewriting established industry-standard process improvement
models to focus on education needs. Prince George's County operates
196 public schools with a budget of over $1,000,000,000.
