    The Intranet seminar provides an overview of the ins and outs of developing your own Intranet.  Linear/Non-Linear architectures are explained, including how to design your own internal structure.  Managing Intranet static, dynamic, periodic, and short-term content, is described.  Defining the business requirements, the engineering and architectural requirements that need to be considered, the best practices to use, and collecting usage statistics are all explained.  A successful Intranet is shown as an example.
  • At the end of the seminar, attendees will be able to
    • Understand Intranet problems and goals
    • Understand business, architectural, and engineering requirements
    • Design an Intranet structure and architecture
    • Collect usage statistics for an Intranet

  • There is no limit on the number of attendees

  • Instructor Qualifications

    1. Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
    2. 5 years professional experience in software engineering
    3. 5 years experience teaching computer professionals at the Graduate school level
