Software Requirements

  • Description
The Software Requirements seminar provides an overview of the most important phase of software development - documenting the project requirements.  When requirements are completely identified without dictating design, software developers have the knowledge to do their development without the restrictions imposed by forced design approaches.  In addition, research has shown that the most cost effective time to find and fix project errors is in the requirements phase.
  • At the end of the seminar, attendees will be able to
    • Elicit software requirements from users
    • Recognize requirements as capabilities are discussed
    • Differentiate requirements from design
    • Recognize different requirements types
    • Construct a good Software Requirements Specification
